Parking Map of Lots

On January 17, 2006, the Moline City Council passed Ordinance 3001-2006 amending Chapter 20 "Motor Vehicles & Traffic, Section 20-5109, related to parking in the downtown area. Under the adopted ordinance, all municipal lots will now be either 2 hour free parking, 24 hour free parking or leased parking. On street parking will now be limited to one hour. One & Two hour time limits do not apply to those displaying a handicapped placard.

All municipal parking lots have been identified with signs and will be enforced Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm. One & Two hour time limits do not apply after 5 pm and on weekends. Enforcement of the new parking changes began on March 20, 2006.

A new easy-to-use, color coded map showing parking locations was printed and distributed in the downtown area. Copies of the new parking map are also be available at downtown tourist destination businesses, city buildings and on the city's website at www.moline.il.us. An electronic version of the new parking map is also attached below to our site.

Moline's new Midtowne Parking facility at 1601 - 6th Avenue, provides 443 parking spaces, serving both public and leased parking. Free two hour parking is available on the ground level, while the second, third and fourth levels are reserved for leased parking. Currently the reserved spaces are 67% rented, leaving 120 spaces still available for lease to local businesses.
