Downtown Moline Centre Parking

 In late 2010, in an effort to address concerns raised by downtown business owners, employees, customers, and residents, a Downtown Moline Centre Parking Committee was formed.   Two surveys were conducted, one of downtown merchants/property owners, and the other of downtown visitors.  In response to the key issues identified in the surveys, the Parking Committee proposed changes to the existing Moline Centre parking system to City Council.

• Parking limits were increased from 2-hour to 3-hour parking in all surface parking lots and in the Midtowne Parking Facility.  Leased parking lot T will be converted to public parking.
• All on-street parking will have a uniform 2-hour parking limit unless specifically designated otherwise.
• Lots T and W, and the fourth floor of the Midtowne Parking Facility will have parking spaces available for a discounted lease rate of $10.00 per month.
• Space jumping will continue to be enforced in an effort to avoid downtown employees from taking up prime customer/visitor parking spaces.
